Complete Visa/Permit formalities. Proceed for a scenic drive to Thimphu, the capital city. Check-in and relax. Overnight stay at Thimphu. (Breakfast)
Drive via the picturesque Dochu La Pass (Himalayan views). Visit Punakha Dzong at the river confluence and Chimi Lhakhang (Temple of Fertility). Walk across the Punakha Suspension Bridge. Return to Thimphu. (Breakfast)
Half-day tour: Buddha Point (Kuensel Phodrang), National Memorial Chorten, Simply Bhutan Museum, Takin Reserve, and Textile Museum. Drive to Paro. Check-in. Overnight stay at Paro. (Breakfast)
Option A: Drive to Chele-La-Pass (3,810m), the highest motorable pass, for views of Mt. Jumolhari.
Option B: Hike to the world-famous Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Taktsang), perched on a cliffside.
